Today we want to talk about a branding project, which we are very proud of. Sadly, this project was never implemented, but still has a chance for it!
CastingCafé is a concept of an urban cafe, focused on members of artistic and fashion audience: actors, producers and models. CastingCafé is conceived as a spot where all these people make acquaintances, come together and create things that will become fashionable and trendy soon.
Accordingly, the corporate identity of this facility was created corresponding fully to the values of the target audience. It should be charged with positive energy, originality and charisma, fitting into the context of the existing standards of fashion industry.
The designed logotype represents a signature sign that looks like a top view of two cups of coffee, connected, or rather “grown together” or even overlapping. The sign carries it all – communication, dating, coming together and even sex. At the same time, it is also a “CC” monogram, which is emphasized by the brand writing with capital letters repeating “cups with handles”. Here we go behind the boarders of Chanel and Gucci that use similar solutions and are well known to urban fashionistas)))
At the same time, we put various visual associations in the sign – from sunglasses to beautiful female shapes, as sex, as you know, always sells it well – almost from primitive times))))

During the work process, we came up with a non-standard fantasy descriptor – “Chooseteria”. Together with the logo it fully reveals the concept of the facility ( meaning “selective” — when speaking about casting, and enabling to position this place as a spot where people come to meet and choose a couple. What for the trendy youth should ever go places?!)))
As a result, we got a simple and modern, but at the same time trendy and hot logotype, that perfectly fits all necessary formats – from packaging and glassware branding to staff’s uniform. However, once the works were finished, our customer decided to drastically change the format and concept of the facility , and the brand remained only at development level.
The good news is that our work is for sale now and can be used to create a similar urban cafe! Its cost is $ 12,000 – to cover the necessary expenses. On our end, we really want this project to be implemented – as we consider it very successful, not to say – perfect!
